Conducting inter-laboratory comparisons
Standards and guidelines:
ISO/IEC 17043 is followed for inter-laboratory comparisons and reporting.
The comparisons are intended to:
- accredited results validation bodies (CMCs),
- measurement laboratories and laboratories for validation of methods and results,
- measurement providers to validate the operational performance of the provider.
Length measures
In the area of length measuring instruments, inter-laboratory comparisons will be carried out on the following samples:
- calipers,
- micrometers,
- dial gauges.
The price of the first sample is 249 €, the second sample is 98 €, and the third sample is 53 €.

Torque tools
In the area of torque tools, inter-laboratory comparisons will be carried out on the following samples:
- torque screwdrivers,
- torque wrenches in the lower torque range,
- torque wrenches in the higher torque range.
The price of the first sample is 249 €, the second sample is 98 €, and the third sample is 53 €.

Thermometers
In the area of thermometers, inter-laboratory comparisons will be carried out on the following samples:
- display thermometers (lower temperatures),
- display thermometers (higher temperatures),
- liquid-in-glass thermometers.
