Regulation on the protection of personal data – GDPR
On 27th April 2016, the European Union (EU) adopted the General Regulation on the Protection of Personal Data (EU679/2016, hereinafter: the Regulation), often also referred to as the GDPR Regulation (General Data Protection Regulation).
In the following, we provide some basic information in this regard.
- The Regulation and its provisions are primarily intended to determine the framework for the protection of personal data of individuals when organizations process i.e. collect, process, transmit or store such data.
- The word processing below means collection, processing, transfer, storage of personal data. You can do all four activities, just one of them or any combination.
The processing of an individual’s personal data in the case of cooperation or contact with LOTRIČ Metrology Ltd., Selca 163, 4227 Selca is legal when at least one of the conditions is met:
- the individual to whom the personal data relates has consented to the processing of his personal data for one or more specified purposes;
- the processing is necessary for the performance of a contract to which the individual to whom personal data relates is a contracting party, or for the implementation of measures at the request of such an individual prior to the conclusion of the contract;
- processing is necessary to fulfill a legal obligation applicable to the controller.
There are also other bases for the legality of the processing of personal data of individuals, but in our cases they can occur only with a very low probability.
LOTRIČ Metrology Ltd. has assumed the role of personal data controller in accordance with the Regulation.
The principles we follow when processing personal data:
- legality, fairness and transparency,
- purpose limitation,
- minimum volume of data,
- accuracy,
- storage limit,
- integrity and confidentiality.
The rights that are guaranteed to individuals by the Regulation and which in LOTRIČ Metrology Ltd. we respect:
- access to personal data,
- correction of personal data,
- deletion or ‘the right to be forgotten,
- restriction of processing,
- objection regarding processing,
- data portability.
In the process of achieving compliance with the Regulation, we at LOTRIČ Metrology Ltd. adopted, and in our daily work we observe the necessary technical and organizational measures that ensure compliance with the provisions and requirements of the Regulation and the standards set by good practices in information security.

Data retention and cancellation
The controller will store and process your personal data until you cancel it.
You can revoke your consent at any time without cost, namely:
– by sending a notice of cancellation to the administrator’s email address info@lotric.si,
– by completing the request using the form,
– orally on the record at the headquarters of the company LOTRIČ Metrology Ltd., Selca 163, 4227 Selca.
The manager will stop processing your personal data after receiving the withdrawal of consent and will delete it.
Scope of powers
If any of the terms of use is found to be illegal or invalid according to the laws in force in Slovenia, it must be removed from the terms of use. All other terms of use remain in effect and are binding.
