Expansion of the scope of the notified body NB 2897
LOTRIČ Metrology, the notified body, is expanding its scope of activities by obtaining a decision for Full-face masks (EN 136) and Halfmasks and Quarter masks (EN 140), and now covers the certification of three types of masks in addition to the existing Filtering half masks to protect against particles (EN 149).

With a complete testing service, under an accredited test laboratory (LP-099) and certification, it provides manufacturers:
- with a one-stop shop for a comprehensive conformity assessment process under Regulation (EU) 2016/425 on personal protective equipment for the EU type-examination certificate (module B) and
- the certificate of conformity to type based on internal production control plus supervised product checks at random intervals (module C2) or the certificate of conformity to type based on quality assurance of the production process (module D).
