Test methods according to international standards and internal methods
Polymer laboratory
The characteristics and durability of products made of polymeric materials mainly depend on the composition of the selected materials and the quality of processing. Through test procedures, we can obtain data that is the basis for the correct choice of polymers for new products, to ensure uniform quality of materials in the state of delivery and to assess the quality of products. They also allow reliable identification of unknown samples and analysis of damaged products.
Activities of polymer laboratory
Services:
- We determine the characteristics of polymeric materials in their delivery state and after aging (UV, increased and low temperature and humidity).
- We determine the compliance of the characteristics of materials with the data on the certificates.
- We evaluate the quality of products.
- We determine the composition or identification of competing samples.
- Own preparation of test subjects.
Testing is carried out on the following materials:
- thermoplastics, thermosets and elastomers,
- grouting and impregnating resins,
- adhesives, self-adhesive tapes and labels,
- technical laminates and printed circuit boards,
- composites.
The composition and characteristics of polymeric materials are determined:
- in their delivery condition,
- on standard test pieces,
- on test subjects for determination of flammability according to UL 94 and on test subjects for determination of burning rate according to SIST ISO 3795: 1999, FMVSS 302: 2020, DIN 75200: 1980, GMW 3232: 2021, DBL 5307: 2019 point 6.1., MS300-08: 2014 , VCS 5031,19: 2018, D45 1333: 2020, TL 1010: 2008; GS 97038: 2013, VW 96243 / PTL 8501: 2020.
- on products.
