Car manufacturers entrust us with the testing of the resistance of car seat material to sunscreen or other cosmetics. With salt mist, we check the corrosion protection of car chassis. Among the samples are climbing handrails, mirrors, door handles and even anti-freeze, which is used to coat the exterior of aircraft and thus prevent the latter from freezing high in the air, where completely different weather conditions prevail.

Laboratory of analytical chemistry
The laboratory of analytical chemistry is equipped with modern measuring equipment that enables the analysis of various materials in accordance with international standards.
In the laboratory we perform:
- chemical analysis of water,
- metallic materials,
- galvanic coatings,
- polymers,
- chemicals,
- baths,
- lubricants
- and salt.
The laboratory participates in interlaboratory comparisons in Slovenia and Europe and thus confirms the quality of its services.
Surface laboratory protection
According to international standards or your requirements, we perform corrosion and climate tests on all types of materials, semi-finished products and products.
After the test, we evaluate the results in the form of a Certificate with accompanying pictorial material.
Laboratory for metals, mechanical testing and microscop
Mechanical and microscopic testing are performed according to international standards. We have individual methods developed according to internal regulations. We adapt the test procedures to the client’s wishes.
Investigations of metallic materials are complemented by mechanical, microscopic and chemical investigations.
Polymer laboratory
The properties and durability of products made of polymeric materials mainly depend on the composition of the selected materials and the quality of processing. With the above test procedures, we can obtain data that is the basis for the correct choice of polymers for new products, to ensure uniform quality of materials in the delivery condition and to assess the quality of products. They also allow reliable identification of unknown samples and analysis of damaged products.
Most of the test procedures are performed according to international standards, but we have also introduced some internal methods. We also design and adapt test procedures to the requirements of our clients.
We also regularly participate in interlaboratory investigations of the OFI Institute in Vienna.
Printed circuit board laboratory
Tests are performed on solder materials such as printed circuit boards (TIVs) and electronic components.
We perform:
- solderability tests,
- metallographic investigations of TIV soldered joints and electronic components,
- determine the glass transition temperature Tg for TIV – DSC and the chemical composition of the solder.
